Harbhajan Singh ties knot with Geeta

India cricketer Harbhajan Singh and Bollywood actress Geeta Basra finally tied the knot on Wednesday in Jalandhar. The 35-year-old off-spinner and Basra completed the wedding after a long relation. The couple chose traditional attires for the ceremony, reports Indian Express Online.
Sachin Tendulkar was also seen at the wedding in Jalandhar with Muskesh and Nita Ambani’s son Akash. Their wedding outfits are being styled by ace designer Archana Kochhar. In a statement couple of days ago, Kochhar had said that Geeta’s wedding lehenga will be in traditional red-and-gold combination accessorised by a ‘nath’, a ‘matha patti’ and a ‘tikka’ with a beautiful head dupatta to complete the ensemble.
Earlier, a mehendi and sangeet ceremony was also held at Harbhajan’s Jalandhar home in the Indian state of Punjab. For her mehendi Geeta Basra chose pastel colours. She wore a pink and yellow lehenga by Archana Kocchar for the mehendi and chose a dark green lehenga for sangeet.
The couple will host a reception in New Delhi on Sunday, November 1.
