Four held in Barisal

The Detective Branch (DB) of Barisal Metropolitan Police (BMP) arrested four persons for their alleged involvement in question paper leak from the city’s Jhautala area yesterday.
The arrestees were identified as Liton Chakrabartee, Eynal Haque, Aziz Rari and Yunus. However, the main accused named Jewel managed to flee the spot, said police.
The group had collected money from about 300 examines of Government Primary Assistant Teacher Examination scheduled for today, promising to supply answer script, said police.
Huge number of sample answer scripts, mainly used in previous years, was seized from their procession. Police also seized some cash, a laptop, a desktop, a mobile phone, printer and a list of 300 examinees from the spot.  Abu Sayed, senior assistant commissioner of BMP, said acting on a tip off, a DB police team raided a house in Jhautala area of the city and arrested four persons.
