Two Eid Jamaats to be held at DU Central Mosque

Two Eid Jamaats will be held at the Central Mosque of Dhaka University (DU) and its adjacent premises on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. The DU Central Mosque Eid congregations are scheduled to be held at 8 am and 9am, said a DU press release here yesterday morning.

Senior Imam of the mosque Khatib Dr Syed Muhammed Emdad Uddin will conduct the first congregation while the second one will be conducted by Imam Khatib Hafez Nazir Mahmud. Four more congregations will also be held at 8 am in the following places–Salimullah Muslim Hall field, Dr Muhammad Shahidullah Hall lawn, Uttar Nilkhet premises and Baitus Salam Jam-e-mosque of Giasuddin Ahmed Residential Area.
