3-day Ijtema in Tangail

A three-day Ijtema of Tablig Jamaat began in Tangail yesterday. A huge canopy  has been erected on central Eidga maidan and outer stadium of Tangail. The Muslim devotees have started pouring into the venue in large number since Wednesday. Ameer of Tangail district Tablig Jamaat Moulana Abdul Haye said  more than one lakh mussalis to participate in the event, where religious sermons quoting from Quran and Hadith will be delivered. The main Ijtema is held in Tongi in two phases every year. The Ijtema will conclude on Saturday through akheri munajat.
