Newly appointed advisory coach of Bangladesh Hockey Federation Ajay Kumar Bansal is due to arrive Dhaka at around 9.30 pm on August 15. Ahead of Women’s Junior AHF Cup 2019 which is scheduled to be played from September 9-15 in Singapore, A K Bansal will coach U-21 women’s team in that tournament. He is also expected to work in the initial campaign for the Junior Asia Cup which is set to be held in Dhaka next year.
AKM Mominul Haque, the General Secretary of Bangladesh Hockey Federation said, A K Bansal’s goal will be preparing Singapore bound women team. He will stay at Dhaka for 15 days but we are trying to extend his contract so that he can give enough time to our U-21 men’s team.
In the aftermath of Eid-ul-Adha, Women’s hockey team to submit report to Hockey Federation on August 15 while U-21 boys team to start initial campaign on August 18.
