3 killed in Ctg road accidents

Three persons were killed and two others injured in two separate road accidents on Dhaka-Chittagong highway in Sitakunda area early yesterday. The deceased were identified as Shakhawat Hossain, 25, hailing from Sandwip upazila of Chittagong, Ismail Hossain, 47, and Anowar Hossain, 50, both of them resident of Sitakunda upazila. The injured were Nurul Alam, 15, and Nurul Karim, 35 the injured were under treatment in Chittagong Medical College Hospital. The accident took place when a minibus overturned in Bhatiary area of Sitakunda. Shakhawat, the helper of the minibus died on the spot as he was crushed under the bus. In a separate road accident, two people were killed in Sitakunda Pourashbha area when a collision took place between a truck and a Nasiman.
