Bangladesh head coach Chandika Hathurusingha is expected to return to Dhaka from Australia ahead of the start of the national team’s practice camp today.
The practice camp for the upcoming home series against Zimbabwe is scheduled to kickstart on October 29.
Along with Hathurusingha, compatriots assistant-cum-spin bowling coach Nuwan Kalpage and strength & conditioning coach Mario Villavarayen alongside fast-bowling coach Heath Streak are also due to arrive here to join with the team’s practice session.
All the coaching staffs of the Bangladesh team left the country after the postponement of the Australia series. The Cricket Australia (CA) withheld their Bangladesh tour on security concerns in the first week of October.
On the other hand, BCB president Nazmul Hassan Papon and BCB chief selector Faruque Ahmed are also out of the country. Both of them are due to return home today.
Papon went to Singapore on Monday to attend in Asian Cricket Council (ACC) meeting, where the venue of the next Asia Cup will be finalised.
