Over 4.14 lakh people went abroad with overseas employment after getting approval of the Bureau of Manpower, Employment and Training (BMET) in last 10 months since January this year, reports BSS.
A meeting of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment yesterday revealed this saying, “A total of 4,14,812 people went in different countries for jobs during the period.”
With chairman of the committee Nurul Mazid Mahmud Humayun in the chair, Minister for Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment Nurul Islam B Sc, and committee members were present in the meeting.
