Youth beaten to death

A youth was beaten to death allegedly by unidentified miscreants in the city’s Sagorika cattle market area on Thursday night. The deceased is Mohammad Mubarak Hossain, 20, son of Mosharraf Hossain of Sagorika cattle market area. Some unidentified people called Mubarak out of his residence and took him to Fuzdarpara area on Thursday night. The assailants beat Mubarak mercilessly, leaving him critically injured, said Omar Faruk, Sub Inspector of Pahartali thana.
