Berdych claims Stockholm title

AFP, STOCKHOLM: Czech top seed Tomas Berdych defended his Stockholm title on Sunday with a 7-6 (7/1), 6-2 victory over surprise finalist Jack Sock of the United States.
It was world number five Berdych’s 12th career title and second this year after winning in Shenzhen at the start of October.
“I’ve definitely built up a good history here, which always helps,” said Berdych, who also won the Swedish tournament in 2012.
“Sometimes you find a place in the world that suits you well, and it’s the case here. I’m glad to be able to add to my titles here.”
