South Korean Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon yesterday said his country will always stand by Bangladesh to materialize its Vision-2041 to turn the country into a developed one. He made the remarks when he met President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban in the evening.
President's Press Secretary Mohammad Joynal Abedin briefed reporters after the meeting. "South Korean Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon said he firmly believes that the vision taken by the Bangladesh government to be a middle income country by 2021 and a developed one by 2041 will be materialised. His country will always stand by Bangladesh to this end," he said quoting the President.
Lee Nak-yon said South Korea gives priority to bilateral relations with Bangladesh and it wants to be a development partner to materialise its visions-2021 and 2041.
