170 women, children raped in six months

About 170 women and children were raped in the district between January and June this year. In January, 21 women and children were raped. The number was 29 in February, 26 in March, 27 in April, 32 in May and 35 in June, according to reports of the register book of forensic medicine department of Comilla Medical College Hospital. An official of the forensic medicine department said they have to examine the rape and murder incidents almost every day.
