Gas cylinder blast burns 3 in Chattogram

There people were injured as a gas cylinder, used for hearth, blasted at Kalshidigipar area under Bandar Police Station Chattogram yesterday. The injured were Rajia Akhter, 40, her son Md Yeasin, 23, and her daughter Tania Akhter, 19. They were admitted to Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) Burn and Plastic Surgery unit. CMCH police outpost assistant sub-inspector Ala Uddin Talukder said that they were admitted to CMCH in a critical condition.  Narayan Dhar, register of burn and plastic surgery unit of Chattogram Medical College Hospitalsaid 55 per cent bodies of Rajia Akhter, 35 per cent of her son Yeasin and 15 per cent of her daughter Tania were burnt.
