Ctg Abahani, Afghan team first semis today

Both the hosts Chittagong Abahani Limited and Spin Ghar Bazan of Afghanistan are eyeing to play the final of the Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup football tournament after winning the first semifinal today.
Chittagong Abahani coach and captain and the head coach of the Spin Ghar Bazan, when talking in the pre-match press conference yesterday at the MA Aziz Stadium expressed their optimistic ahead of their semifinal clash.
Shafiqul Manik, who took the charge of the Chittagong Abahani just few days before the tournament, has confidence on his players as he said, “We confirmed the semi-final as the first team, we want to stay up to last. Boys have the ability, they have been working hard, I believe that we will win the match.”  But the former national star show due respect to opponents when he said, “The Afghan team is very good side. They moved into the semifinal as the group favourites and they are also physically better than us.”
Manik, also said that it is something difficult to play match within a short break before the semifinal, players could not have enough time to recover and it is also a big threat for players to fall into injury.
Spin Ghar Bazan moved into the semifinal as unbeaten champion from Group A as the coach of the team was very much confident to win the match.
Waheedullah, coach of the Spin Ghar Bazan team was confidently said, “We had no idea, when we face Mohammedan Sporting Club in the first match. Now we have some awareness about all teams. I hope we will win the match.”  
Meanwhile, Zahid Hassan Emily, captain of the Chittagong Abahani Limited thinks they will capitalise the home advantage and after losing the first match, they improved gradually and finally made their room in the last four. So they are very much hopeful to win the match.
