RAJSHAHI: Police arrested Dr Mamun-ur-Rashid, Deputy Director of Rajshahi Islami Bank Medical College Hospital, from Baya Bazar in the city on Sunday night on charges of subversive activities, reports UNB. A team of Shah Makhdum Police Station conducted a drive in the area at about 9:30 pm and arrested Dr Mamun, who was wanted in several cases, said sub-inspector of the police station Harun-ur-Rashid. The cases were filed against him for carrying out subversive activities, the SI added.
