The fate of the coaching staff of the Bangladesh team will be defined in the next executive board meeting of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) said its CEO Nizamuddin Chowdhury.
Chowdhury also said that they will try to take their final decision regarding their coaching staffs before their Sri Lanka tour.
With the conclusion of the ICC Cricket World Cup, the contract of some of the coaching staffs of the Bangladesh Cricket Team has been finished. As of now, both the parties have to come in terms to renew the contract if they want to work here with the Tigers.
Of them, the contract of fast-bowling coach Courtney Walsh, spin bowling coach Sunil Joshi, batting consultant Neil McKenzie and physio Thihan Chandramohan was till the 50-over extravaganza.
“Still we’re working on the matter with whom our team management will work for the next games of the team,” Nizamuddin Chowdhury said.
“It’ll not be our liking only. There is a matter of them also. There is a matter of their consent and availability,” Nizamuddin told media.
“Still we’re working on that. The matter will be settled in the next board meeting,” he added.
“We’re in the position to judge who are interested to work here with us and we will work for them. If these issues will be finalized then we could take the final decision in the next board meeting.”
