Fake passports, visas seized in Sylhet

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive arrested one person along with fake passports, visa and documents from Lokhkhipur village in Dakkin Surma on in Sylhet on Friday night. The arrestee was identified as Mohammad Ali, 46, son of late Ishak Ali, a resident of this village, says in a press release. Getting information, a team of RAB-9, led by lieutenant AM Fokrul Islam, conducted the drive in the house of Mohammad Ali in Lokhkhipur village. During the drive they seized 16 Bangladeshi passports, one fake British passport and 12 fake visas of different countries with fake documents from Ali’s house. He is an inter-district member of forgery passport group. There are many cases against him related this matter. The RAB also hunted the other member of this group, the release added. A case was filed in this connection with the concerned police station, the RAB source said.
