A mobile court of Chittagong district administration fined the owners of three medicine shops Tk 30, 000 yesterday for selling date expired medicines, doctor’s sample and unapproved Indian Medicine. The court, led by Chittagong administrative magistrate and deputy revenue collector Ruhul Amin, conducted a drive in Chatteshwari area under Chwakbazar Police Station and fined owners of Zannat Pharmacy Tk 20,000, Razu Medicine Tk 5,000 and Linnas Pharmacy Tk 5,000, said district Administration sources. “Some dishonest businessmen were selling unapproved medicines for long time. We fined Tk 30, 000 to three pharmacies owners and warned them” said Ruhul Amin.
