Arrested trio confess part

Three accused of a grade 6 girl's 'gang rape' gave confessional statements before the court yesterday afternoon. Khulna Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's Court -2 Judge Tariqul Islam recorded the confessional statement, said Momtazul Haque, officer-in-charge of Sonadanga Police Station. Among the nine accused, police arrested five. Of them, Nurur Nabi, 18, Sheikh Shahdat, 20, and Moin Hossain Hriday, 20, gave confessional statements before the court. Police also sought 5-day remand of Rabbi Hasan Parash, 21, and Mahmud Hasan Akash, 21, for interrogation.
