BD U-19 to play 2 practice ties in Mirpur

Bangladesh Under-19 Cricket Team will play two practice matches against a combined team before flying to England for a tri-nation series.

The youth Tigers is scheduled to fly for London on July 15 to play the triangular series, where India and the hosts England Colts are the other teams will clash against them for the trophy.

The combined team will be formed with the mix of the High Performance (HP) team and Bangladesh ‘A’ team players, who are in Dhaka will later join with the second string team in Chattogram ahead of their five-match ODI series.

Both the matches of the youth side will be played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in Mirpur on July 4 and 6 respectively.

The U-19 Cricket Team, who will report today for the Dhaka phase after finishing their Khulna phase. With the help of the local coaches, head coach Naveed Nawaz will supervise them in the matches against the senior team.
