Sheltech MD Toufiq Seraj passes away

Dr Toufiq M Seraj, managing director of real estate company Sheltech (Pvt) Ltd,   died of cardiac arrest at Doha International Airport in Qatar early yesterday. He was 63.

Seraj along with Sheltech Chairman Kutubuddin Ahmed left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport for Spain on Thursday, said an official of Sheltech. He suffered a cardiac arrest at about 1am and the plane made an emergency landing at the Doha airport for him.  

Seraj was the president of Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB) for three consecutive terms. He was also the president of Bangladesh Institute of Planners (BIP).
