Switzerland keen to assist Bangladesh on taxation system

Switzerland has expressed interest to work closely with Bangladesh for modernisation of its taxation system and expansion of bilateral trade for the mutual benefits of the two countries.

“Switzerland is one of the major development partners of Bangladesh. We want to work with the Bangladesh government for modernisation of its taxation system and expansion of trade,” said Swiss ambassador in Dhaka Rene Holenstein during a meeting with LGRD and cooperatives minister Md Tajul Islam at the latter’s office at the secretariat yesterday.
