Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes a new kind of party game

The first thing that usually comes to mind when we think of party games are typical and classic board games such as Monopoly or Life. Video games these days, as fun as they are, just seem to lack that unique set of mechanics that make it fun to play with a group of people, aside from the typical sports or shooter games. However, a new game has arrived from Steel Crate Games that might just be the most interesting party game of recent time, regardless of the medium.
Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes is a bomb defusing game which can be both stressful and enjoyable depending on who plays it and how. One party playing the game must be the defuser who must disarm the bomb. The other party are the experts with the manual and instructions. The catch is neither party are allowed to look at each others screens. This adds a new layer of interactivity and communication between players that has not been seen in video games in a long time. Each bomb has a set of modules that must be solved like a puzzle and the whole bomb must be disarmed within a set time limit and number of allowed mistakes. The modules within the bomb range from simple logic puzzles with wires and Simon Says, to more complex ones that require an understanding of Venn diagrams and Morse code.
So far there are set number of puzzles in the game with their own numbers of modules and time limits as well as a free play that lets someone customize the bomb as they see fit. The easy playing features can make Keep Talking immensely exciting for players who wish to add a new spin to their parties.
