Tk 6 lakh looted from Krishi Bank

Sylhet: Robbers looted Tk6 lakh from a Krishi Bank branch at Shamsernagar Road in Moulvibazar district town on Tuesday night, reports UNB.
Nazmul Islam, manager of the branch, said being informed by their night guards he rushed to the bank around 10 pm and found its window grills, vault lock and collapsible gate broken.
The burglars might have entered the vault room sometime at night breaking open the window and looted Tk6.26 lakh from the vault, said the manager.
On information, police rushed in and held three guards of the bank for interrogation.
