The Korean Embassy in Dhaka yesterday issued a travel notice on the occasion of two festivals - Ashura and Durga Puja - in Bangladesh asking Koreans in Bangladesh to remain alert for their personal security, reports UNB.
“On the occasion of the Hindu festival Durga Puja and Sunni Muslim festival Ashura, Korean Embassy strongly encourages Korean citizens to exercise a high degree of caution by avoiding places and events which are attended by many people,” the notice reads.
The embassy urged the Korean citizens staying in Bangladesh to ‘remain alert’ regarding their personal security at ‘all times.’
Earlier on Oct 4, South Korean Embassy in Dhaka advised its citizens in Bangladesh to exercise caution and maintain a high level of personal security awareness all times in all places.
