Man killed by �elder brother�

A man was killed allegedly by his elder brother at village Dhulgram under Abhaynagar upazila in Jessore yesterday. The killer also injured his mother as well.
Local and police sources said Returning home drunk, Shohel Fakir, 30, started beating his wife mercilessly. Seeing this, as his mother Sufia Begum and younger brother Rubel, 25, came forward to resist him, Shohel hit on their heads with bamboo stick leaving them seriously injured. Later, locals admitted them to Phultola health complex in critical condition. After an hour, Rubel succumbed to his injuries.
