The government of Myanmar, UNDP and UNHCR have extended the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for one year following an agreement between all parties. The exchange of letters was signed by the Ministry of Labor, Immigration, and Population, and representatives of UNHCR and UNDP in Naypyidaw yesterday.
The tripartite MoU was first signed on June 6, 2018 as a necessary step to establish a framework for cooperation between the UN and the Myanmar government, according to UNDP.
