Law Minister Anisul Huq left for Austria yesterday to join the 10th conference of the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC). The conference will be held on May 27-29 in Vienna. A delegation from Bangladesh, including the minister, representatives from Legislative and Parliamentary Affairs Division, Anti-Corruption Commission, Bangladesh Bank and Bangladesh Mission in Vienna, is scheduled to join it. Bangladesh, a member-state to the UNCAC since 2007, has been praised by other states of the UNCAC for enhancing support to the anti-corruption convention.
