CHITTAGONG: Chittagong District Police in overnight special drives arrested 120 persons including seven leaders and activists of local units of Jamaat-e-Islami, reports BSS. The drives were conducted in different upazilas of the district on Monday night. The law enforcers also seized two sharp-edged weapons, two knives and 98-litre liqueur from their possessions during the night-long drives. Mohammad Naimul Hasan, Additional Superintendent of Police (Special Branch) of Chittagong district said several teams of police conducted the drives Between Monday night and Tuesday morning and rounded up 120 accused in different cases.
