A Pilkhana BDR mutiny convicted prisoner died at National Institute Cardiology Vascular Diseases and Hospital on Monday night, reports UNB.
The deceased was identified as Havilder Masud Ahmed, 54, son of late Hasan Ali of Mymenshing.
He had been languishing jail for last several years as he was sentenced to 7 years imprisonment in connection with the mutiny in the ranks of the now defunct BDR.
Sources at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital said Havilder Masud was admitted to NICVD hospital several days back as he was suffering various complications including heart diseases. He died on Monday night at the hospital, DMCH sources said quoting his brother Shamsu Hoque.
