Country achieves success in female education

The present government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has achieved glowing success in spreading female education to make girl students equally worthy citizens for leading the nation towards prosperity, reports BSS from Rangpur. Member of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry of Road Transport & Bridges Nazmul Haque Prodhan said this yesaterday while addressing a ceremony at Panchagarh Government Girls’ High School auditorium town as the chief guest. Panchagarh Government Girls’ High School organised the ceremony for according reception to 222 brilliant students who got GPA-5 in the last SCC and JSC examinations and distributing prizes among winners of the annual cultural competitions.
District Education Officer (DEO) of Panchagarh Sankar Kumar Ghosh, retired DEO Jeebdhan Barman, Headmaster of Panchagarh BP Government High School Shahidul Islam, journalist Shahidul Islam, District Children Affairs Officer Md Akhteruzzaman spoke as special guests. GPA-5 students of the school Swikrity Roy and Maishya Mamtaz addressed the ceremony on behalf of the brilliant students of the institution.  Presided over by Headmistress Rekha Rani Debi of Panchagarh Government Girls’ High School, teachers, students, guardians, government officials, political leaders, public representatives and journalists attended the ceremony.  The educationists termed education as the backbone of any nation and asked the brilliant students for devoting to studies in flourishing their talents to become knowledgeable citizens befitting the competitive 21st century.  They suggested the brilliant female students for acquiring science and information communication technology (ICT)-based modern education for building a prosperous nation to make independence meaningful for every citizen.  Congratulating the brilliant students, the chief guest reminded the teachers about their noble responsibilities to ensure quality education for properly flourishing talents of the students, especially female students, to make them worthy and patriotic citizens.
