11th Meena Media Award ceremony today

The 11th Meena Media Award, introduced by Unicef in 2005 to celebrate excellence in creative media and journalism in print and electronic media, will be given today, reports UNB. Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu, Information Secretary Martuza Ahmed, actress and Unicef National Good will Ambassador Arifa Zaman Moushumi, magician and Unicef National Good will Ambassador Jewel Aich and Deputy Representative, Unicef Bangladesh Louise Mvono will be present at the award giving ceremony to be held at Sonargaon Hotel. The award is named after Meena, a popular animation character liked by children and adults alike in Bangladesh.
