Women Entrepreneur Association of Bangladesh (WEAB) wants 30 per cent allocation of land in every government projects for women entrepreneurs. The association at a press conference urged the government to reduce corporate tax to 25 per cent from 35 per cent for women owned companies.
Bangladesh Bank needs to allocate 20 per cent from EEF for the development of women friendly activities, WEAB said while placing proposals for National Budget 2019-20 at the press conference in the capital yesterday. Among the several proposals for the next budget, the association said tax free enrolment for women entrepreneurs should be Tk 4 lakh instead of Tk 3 taka.
