BB to release new notes from May 22

Bangladesh Bank (BB) has taken a decision to release new notes of Tk 10, 20, 50 and 100 in the market from May 22 to 30 (except the government holidays) ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr. The new notes will be distributed from all branches of Bangladesh Bank across the country, according to a BB circular issued in the capital yesterday. Besides, the notes will also be distributed under special arrangement through different branches of the commercial banks in Dhaka region.
