Chhatra Kallyan Trust holds a seminar

Bangladesh Chhatra Kalyan Trust organised a national seminar titled ‘Role of students-teachers-guardians-civil society and mass media to build a terrorism, militancy and drug free society’ at Senate Bhaban of Dhaka University on Tuesday, says a press release.
Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Advocate Fazle Rabbi Mia, MP, was the chief guest. Former Governor of Bangladesh Bank and Chief Adviser of East West University Dr Mohammed Farashuddin, Prof Md Alauddin, Vice-Chancellor, Maolana Vashani Science and Technology University, Prof Kamal Uddin Ahmed, vice-chancellor Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University and Prof ABM Rashedul Hasan, vice-chancellor , Exim Bank Agricultural University ,were present as the special guests.
Executive Director of Bangladesh Chhatra Kalyan Trust and No-8 Sector Commander of Liberation War Lt Col (retd) Abu Osman Chowdhury presided over the seminar. Moderated by Nure Alam Talukder, CEO of the Trust, the seminar was also addressed by Abdul Mannan, Deputy Chief of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime unit of Bangladesh Police.
In the programme, Former Governor of Bangladesh Bank and Chief Adviser of East West University Dr Mohammed Farashuddin Ahmed and Monirul Islam, Chief of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime Unit of Bangladesh Police, were awarded Lifetime Achievement for their outstanding contribution in the society.
