Fake currency worth Tk 2.32 lakh seized

Police arrested four persons in possession of fake currency worth Tk 2.32 lakh in city’s Shahbagh area on Tuesday. The arrestees are Md Habibur Rahman alias Habib Mollah (48), Md Mintu Bepary (32), Md. Rubel Bepary (32) and Md Dulal Miah (60).

A team of Detective Branch (South) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) conducted a raid in Dhaka Medical College area and arrested them with the counterfeited money, Deputy Commissioner (Media) Md. Masudur Rahman confirmed.
