Three held with firearms in Ctg

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive arrested three alleged arms traders with two foreign made pistols and four bullets from Akbarshah area in the city yesterday. The arrested were identified as Abdur Razzak, 48, Mohammad Ishak, 32, and Abu Taher, 40.

On a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted the drive in the area and arrested them with the firearms at about 12:30 pm yesterday, said RAB Assistant Superintendent Masakur Rahman. A case was filed with Akbarshah police station in this connection.
