VoIP equipment seized at airport

Customs Intelligence yesterday seized 29 boxes of banned equipment of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) worth about Taka two crore from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, reports BSS.
Director General of Customs Intelligence Dr Mainul Khan told BSS this evening saying, “The Metronet BD Ltd imported the equipment from Singapore violating Import Policy Order.”
This equipment include: router, connecting switch, module and access point, he added.
The details could not be known immediately.
