Saaol Heart Center offers oil-free Iftar items

Oil Free Kitchen, an associate organisation of SAAOL Heart Center, is offering oil-free Iftar items throughout the month of Ramadan. The Iftar stall at Eskaton Garden Road, near Saaol Office, is serving more than 25 traditional Bengali Iftar items, including chickpea (Chola), Piyaju, Potato Chop, Chicken Pakora, Beef Halim, different types of Kababs and Kacchi Biriyani.

The month-long arrangement was inaugurated by former vice chancellor of Dhaka University, AAMS Arefin Siddique on Tuesday.

Among others, M Hamid, cultural personality; Professor Dr Salimullah Khan, prominent Writer and Researcher; Abdul Hakim Majumder, Joint Secretary of Defence Ministry; Mahbub Hossain, DIG, SB-Dhaka, Bangladesh Police and Abdulla-Al-Mamun, DIG-Dhaka Range, Bangladesh Police were also present as special guests at the programme.

Poet Mohon Raihan, Founder of SAAOL Heart Center Bangladesh was also present among other senior officials of the company. He said that fasting during Ramadan can improve one’s health, but only if done in a proper manner. If not, it can cause more harm than good. What you eat, or choose not to eat, during Ramadan is very important for healthy living.

The Iftar stall of Oil Free Kitchen will be open from 3pm onwards every day during the month of Ramadan.

SAAOL Heart Center, the pioneer of heart treatment without operation, has been working relentlessly to generate social awareness about the negative sides of consuming oily food. Excessive use of oil in cooking food is the cause of so many diseases, like heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure and even cancer.
