Helen to make her film debut with Nirob

Newcomer model-actress PJ Helen, who has already appeared in several tele-dramas and TV commercial beside a few music videos, is set to make her film debut as she will pair up with popular actor Nirob in a new film titled ‘Desh Amader’. The film is directed by Ali Azad, who has also written the story, script and screenplay for the film. DhakaLive has news that the shooting of Helen’s first film will begin from November 1. PJ Helen said about working in the film, “I am very grateful to Nirob. He has paved the way for me with the opportunity to work in films. I am also grateful to director Ali Azad. It was a dream of mine to become a film actress. My aim is to become a famed film actress.”
Nirob also spoke about the film “The film is a romantic and patriotic film. Ali Azad is a very senior and experienced director, but his thoughts and stories are quite contemporary. That is why, I am very eager to work with him. And I think as a newcomer, Helen will do very well as I see the potential that she has.”
To note, Helen came into the limelight as a model in Tanzib Sarowar’s song ‘Dil Amar Kichu Bujhena’, directed by Tanim Rahman Angshu. Then she appeared in ‘Daily Fright Night’ and ‘Black Hole’ that is being aired on GTV. She also appeared in BU Shubho’s ‘Life in a Metro’, Kaiser Ahmed’s ‘Sohojatri’ and about ten other single episode tele-dramas. She first appeared as a model in a Grameen Phone commercial directed by Adnan Al Rajib.
On the other hand, some of Nirob’s notable films are ‘Probashir Prem’ by Ahmed Ali Mandal, ‘Target’ by Saif Chandan, ‘Ranga Mon’ by Mohammad Zakir Khan, ‘Love in Korea’ by Wakil Ahmed, among others.
