Bangladesh sensational fast bowlers Taskin Ahmed and Rubel Hossain are likely to miss the upcoming home series against Zimbabwe, which will be held in the first week of November. The pace duo, who were sustained injury on the stroke of Bangladesh-A team’s tour in India, is passing busy schedule by doing gym, running and bowling regularly at National Cricket Academy.
Taskin has been suffering from side-strain injury, while Rubel Hossain fell into calf-muscle injury. About Taskin and Rubel, team physio Bayjidul Islam Khan said that both pacers needed six more weeks to recuperate from their respective injury.
“Taskin has been starting his normal practice for his grade-2 side strain injury. More than 6-7 weeks are needed for his full recuperation. He meanwhile completed his 4-week rehab. But it’ll be understood after starting his full practice,” Khan said.
