Speakers urged youths to contribute to national efforts in achieving sustaining development goals, underscoring the need for concerted efforts of all government and non-government organizations to make young people as skilled human resources.
They mentioned that attention should be given to train youth on the promotion of universal human rights, existing national laws of the country, prevention of cyber and international crimes.
They came up with the remarks at a daylong divisional training workshop on implementation of youth development programmes organized by Department of Youth Development (DYD) at Postal Academy Auditorium on Thursday.
Chaired by DYD Deputy Director Matiur Rahman, the event was addressed by its another Deputy Director Atiqur Rahman and Assistant Deputy Director Atikuzzaman Khan as focal persons.
More than 120 persons including eight DYD Deputy Directors and 92 youth organizers from all eight districts of Rajshahi division took part in the workshop.
Taking part in its open discussion, speakers put forward a set of recommendations to infuse dynamism into the youth development activities.
