Six matches of the 4th National Youth (men’s) handball competition were decided on the opening day (Thursday) at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali Handball Stadium.

On the day’s opening match, Jamalapur DSA beat Gopalganj DSA by 21-16. Earlier, Chottogram defeated Sunamganj  by 31-23 goals, Kushtia outclassed Narayanganj by 25-3, Chapainawabganj overpowered Bagerhat DSA 37-27, Panchagarh DSA beat Sunamganj DSA by 29-15  and and Faridpur defeated Narayanganj by 26-12.
