JS goes into session today

The 11th parliament goes into its 2nd session today, after a 42-day recess. The session is set begin at 5pm. Before that, the business advisory committee will meet the Speaker to fix the duration and businesses of the session. The maiden session of the current parliament was prorogued on March 12 after 26 sittings. Five bills were passed during the session beginning January 30, only a month after the national election.
