Yaba tablets seized in C’nawabganj

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered 14,000 pieces of yaba tablets from Atrashia intersection Beribandh area in Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj district on Monday night.

BGB sources said acting on secret information, a patrol team of 53 battalion of BGB from Monakasha border out post raided the aforesaid area at around 11pm and saw a bicyclist coming with a bag.

Sensing the presence of BGB the man fled away leaving the bicycle and the bag. After searching the bag BGB men found yaba tablets worth Tk 42,00,000.
