Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina yesterday received treatment like a general patient from the National Institute of Ophthalmology and Hospital (NIOH) at Agargaon in the capital. “The prime minister took treatment like a general patient from the National Institute of Ophthalmology and Hospital this morning by paying a fee of Taka 10,” PM’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim told BSS. Earlier, the prime minister received healthcare services from the hospital in the same way, Ihsanul Karim said. While at the National Institute of Ophthalmology and Hospital, the prime minister also inquired about the activities of the hospital. Sheikh Hasina thanked the physicians and nurses at the hospital, the press secretary added.
