Youth stabbed dead in Keraniganj

A youth was stabbed to death allegedly by his 'rivals' in Mandail Rosulpur here on Thursday night. The deceased was identified as Rasel, 15, of the area.

Shah Alam, Sub-Inspector of Keraniganj model police station, said a group of rivals swooped on Rasel and stabbed him indiscriminately on the bank of Buriganga River in Mandail Beribadh area while he was going to pay a visit to his friends.

Locals managed to rush him to Mitford Hospital, but doctors there declared him dead, SI Alam added.
