Deed writer hacked dead in Barishal

A deed-writer was hacked to death by miscreants at Bhukhain Nagar in sadar upazila yestedray. The deceased was identified as Rezaul Karim Reaz, 40, son of late Sattar Hawladar of the area.

The incident took place around 3 am while he was sleeping in his room house, said Nurul Islam, officer-in-charge of Sadar Model Police Station, quoting family members. On information, police recovered the body and sent it to a local hospital morgue for autopsy.

It's certainly a murder and police have started investigating the incident, the OC added.
