Medical admission seekers, who went on a hunger strike unto death at the Central Shaheed Minar on Wednesday morning, broke their strike yesterday evening, reports UNB.
The called off the strike following assurance from some eminent personalities of establishing a ‘mass court’ at the Central Shaheed Minar from October 19 to press home their demand.
Jahangirnagar University teacher Prof Anu Mohammad, columnist Syed Abul Maksud and journalist Abu Sayeed Khan assured the striking students of forming the mass court and urged them to break the strike
