Stamford University emerged as the champions in the ULAB Fair Play Cup Cricket tournament defeating Independent University by 19 runs.
Saddam Hossain, captain of the Stamford University scored a quick 43 off 35 balls to be adjudged the best player in the final of the 12th edition of the ULAB Fair Play Cup Cricket, held on March 4.
Professor Muhammed Ali Naqi, vice-chancellor and Muhammad Abdul Matin registrar of the Stamford University were present and witnessed the final to inspire the players while Associate Professor Rabiul Kabir and Associate Professor Muhaammad Jainul Abedin, Advisor of the cricket team and Deputy Registrar Fazle Rab Taj and the Manager of the cricket team SM Nasimul Haque of Stamford University Bangladesh were also present among others.
